It all started with a dream…two dreams…

Pastor

Phillip Lewis

As a young man in the world, I dreamed of building a school and a church long before I ever knew anything about salvation. It was just something in my heart. Now, as a father and a pastor, I understand the urgency to establish a more rounded community to reinforce the new identity in Christ that believers receive at rebirth. I’ve observed that this requires a reacculturation to be heavenly minded. Our children have a very hard time doing this in a public school setting where nearly every communication they get while there is anti-Christ. I’m aware that this will take sacrifice. My wife and I are willing to sacrifice to plant a tree from which we may never experience the pleasure of its shade. Please pray with us and for us as we move forward with this goal in mind.

As an educator for two decades, I have experienced many education settings mostly in the public school sector. I witnessed first-hand the constant decline in morals and other standards as that system appeared to be loosening at its very seams. I have always conferred with other like minds a passion to be part of a school free from the bureaucratic restraints to genuine learning. I dreamed of a school where the focus is centered on Christian values and the time tested disciplines that have always produced great minds, moral leaders, and well-rounded citizens. My background specializing in Education Organizational Leadership has been a catalyst to make this dream a reality.

Our History

The year 2020 was a bombshell for us all. However, the pandemic that shut down the world, opened up a door for us. Our son was home from preschool and I began homeschooling him. When the following school year rolled around, his school decided they would not reopen amidst the pandemic. I decided, as a certified teacher, I was well equipped to teach him. I would just need help with my 1 year old. I enlisted the help of a church sister. Word got around that I would be homeschooling, and other families asked if they could somehow be a part. TAG Nursery school was born in my basement August 2020 to meet the immediate need. Parents were so pleased with the results, that they did not want their children to leave our care. Soon plans were underway to start a school.

We hope to continue serving the children and families of our community. Please pray that we can grow steadily to service more and more grades until we can accommodate all grades.
